Cultural experience definitely lives here. Peruvian food is known for their intricate dishes and all around savory tastes. This restaurant reminds me of being in Peru! Extremely authentic and savory with every bite.
We ate papa rellena as the appetizer which is "stuffed potatoes" made differently. The potatoes has a slight sweet taste but paired with a salty meat inside it, great pairing. My palette was exploding with flavor. I also ordered the house special serving Duck that day, it was totally worth the price! The cilantro rice tasted fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The duck was tender and full of flavor as well, wouldn't change a thing.
I ordered a pisco sour - a traditional alcohol beverage in Peru and it was made to perfection. I tried the passion fruit flavor and honestly was the best pairing with the duck.
This has been one of my favorite restaurants for some time and seen them go through different transitions of expansion. I am never disappointed, they take great care of their customers. Also, they are now accepting reservations. -

Terrible service and management. Did not even sit, my family and I walked out. 3 pm on Saturday 1/2 to 3/4 empty tables, we asked for a booth since w had our 2 kids, and they would not accommodate even though there were few available. Excuse was that it was for 6 people and they were reserved, reserved at 3pm? The booths reserved not the tables? After the hostess refused, I asked for the manager, who was behind the bar, and basically gave me the same answer and attitude of FU take or leave it...
I will take the time to not only write this review here but I will write in all social media, that how offended and insulted I felt by a company that asks for my money in exchange for their services. -

I used to like the restaurant, considering the very few Peruvian options in Tampa. The food was OK and service was descent. But based on my last visits, been the last one the worst, can't say anything positive. Considering the lack of management and terrible kitchen, wouldn't be surprised if shuts down tomorrow.
First of all, they're serving rotten food. Last time I made the mistake to briefly taste "Tallarin Saltado" that I ordered, which was awfully bad smelling, and got poisoned. I actually had to cancel a after lunch meeting because of that. Despite the acknowledgement by two of the waiters (nothing bad to say about them), the manager didn't care at all nor apologized. I guess that explains why the restaurant is been almost empty as unsatisfied customers don't come back.

I tried many Peruvian restaurants in many states and I am also Peruvian so I can tell the difference, this place is by far the best place , I loved the lomo , the fried calamari was amazing not heavy at all and very tasty , ceviche was amazing very fresh and the fish was cut in perfect sizes , I am upset that I didn't take any pictures but I will be coming back and I will post some , I really recommend this place

I got this AMAZING chicken and rice platter with plantains from @terrasurcafe. This was my first experience with them and I'm convinced that dining in would be a delight. You gotta check them out!
